چکیده

Aims. Interstellar molecules form early in the evolutionary sequence of interstellar material that eventually forms stars and planets. To understand this sequence, it is important to characterize chemical composition its first steps. Methods. In paper, we present result a 2 3 mm survey five cold clumps identified by Planck mission. We carried out radiative transfer analysis on detected lines order put some constraints physical conditions within cores molecular column densities. also performed models reproduce observed abundances each source using gas-grain model Nautilus. Results. Twelve were detected: H CO, CS, SO, NO, HNO, HCO + , HCN, HNC, CN, CCH, CH OH, CO. Here, CCH only carbon chain two sources. Radiative analyses CO constrain cloud with limited success. The sources have density larger than 10 4 cm −3 temperature lower 15 K. derived species densities are not very sensitive uncertainties conditions, factor 2. different seem significant differences spreading over one magnitude. these poorer Taurus Molecular Cloud 1 Cyanopolyyne Peak (TMC-1 CP) core. Our reproduces observational upper limits for 79–83% our ‘best’ times be smaller those TMC-1, indicating may less evolved explaining numerous non-detections. Also, CS HCN always overestimated models.

Clouds , Clumps , Cores & Comets - a Cosmic Chemical Connection ?

We discuss the connection between the chemistry of dense interstellar clouds and those characteristics of cometary matter that could be remnants of it. The chemical evolution observed to occur in molecular clouds is summarized and a model for dense core collapse that can plausibly account for the isotopic fractionation of hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen and carbon measured in primitive solar system ...

CHEMICAL COMPOSITIONS OF LARGE CLUSTER IDPs

Introduction: We previously determined that ~10 µm interplanetary dust particles (IDPs) collected from the Earth's stratosphere are enriched in many moderately volatile elements by a factor of ~3 over the CI meteorites [1]. However, these IDP measurements provide no direct constraint on the bulk chemical composition of the parent body (or parent bodies) of the IDPs. Collisions are believed to b...

Chemical compositions of four barium stars

We obtain abundances of α, iron peak and neutron capture (n-capture) process elements in four Ba stars HD26886, HD27271, HD50082 and HD98839 based on high resolution, high signal-to-noise spectra. We find that all of these Ba stars are disk stars. Their α and iron peak elements are similar to the solar abundances. The n-capture process elements are overabundant relative to the Sun. In particula...

Counting chemical compositions using Ehrhart quasi-polynomials

To count the number of chemical compositions of a particular mass, we consider an alphabet A with a mass function which assigns a mass to each letter in A. We then compute the mass of a word (an ordered sequence of letters) by adding the masses of the constituent letters. Our main interest is to count the number of words that have a particular mass, where we ignore the order of the letters with...

Cymbopogon essential oils: Chemical compositions and bioactivities

The genus Cymbopogon (Poaceae) is most important from the point of view of their essential oils. Essential oils from these species are widely used in flavours, fragrances, cosmetics, soaps, detergents and perfumery owing to their typical lemon and rose-like aroma. Cymbopogon essential oils and constituents present therein e.g. citral, geraniol, citronellol, citronellal and piperitone, have been...
